The Gen Z Student Consumer. Growth comes from winning new customers and the best new customers are students. Millions of new students become financially independent every single year, spending more than $417bn in the US alone.
Generation Z is hard to reach. This new generation has turned traditional media upside down. They don’t watch TV, read their news on social media, and block ads any chance they get.
Traditional marketing doesn’t work with them - but UNiDAYS has the solution.

Through a full suite of products including targeted advertising, Student Verification , bespoke content and high intending audiences UNiDAYS will position brands with our community, all the time aligning the members values with the brands.
Day to day responsibilities
Fundamentally understand the core objectives and goals of each partner and identify how to maximize their opportunities
Using the core objectives of the Brand help build an overarching student / Gen Z brand strategy using the full suite of UNiDAYS products to help the Partner position against that demographic
Build multi-layered relationships both vertically and horizontally across each partner
Understanding of detailed number analysis and the importance data plays when pitching a compelling story
Identify and report on key performance metrics for each brand in your portfolio
Using the core objectives of the brand create annual account plans with quarterly business reviews to drive performance and strong partner engagement
Consistently exceed / achieve campaign sales goals based on building big scale, globally ambitious plans with the appropriate ROI
Identify omni-channel opportunities that leverage the full spectrum of UNiDAYS’ network and product suite capabilities for your partners
Demonstrate high level negotiation skills, including C-Suite level
In the role of Partnership Development Manager, you will be managing a portfolio of UNiDAYS’ partners - consisting of prestigious consumer brands and retailers.
Working closely with senior marketing and commercial teams for each partner, you will be looking to maximize sales performance (often omnichannel).
Using our media channels, exponentially growing our audience and create long term strategic plans to continually drive high performance and achieve year on year growth of your portfolio.
This is a proactive, high intensity role with a strong sales component - we are looking for brilliant commercially minded people who are creative, innovative and work closely together with our partners to deliver strong sales results through strategic initiatives and innovation.
You will develop strong personal relationships with key C-suite as well as day-to-day contacts at our partners, to ensure we are front of mind and have a direct senior line into the people who care about the big picture.
This is about building deeply strategic partnerships and not simply transactional relationships.
You will be expected to gain a deep understanding of each brand (often very large complex businesses), their goals, their pain points and leverage every opportunity possible.
You’ll naturally always be creating new ways to develop the relationship, sometimes beyond our core offering.
What we need from you
With a firm grasp on the industry you are able to provide strategic direction for UNiDAYS clients and are able to to understand and digest the market by vertical.
You have a clear understanding of where the UNiDAYS product offering sits in the market and how to position that both with partners direct and ad agencies.
Using your experience to create innovative frameworks, strategies and approaches that position UNiDAYS as a thought leader and innovator, as a Student Affinity Network across multiple verticals.
You build strong relationships with each stakeholder on the Partner side from a decision making standpoint. With your manager scope out engagement strategy and execute.
As the primary client lead and advocate, you build plans and facilitate meetings with clients. Providing thought leadership and driving a true partnership as opposed to just a transactional relationship.
Deep understanding client's goals and key priorities.
You’re constantly enhancing presentation skills and looking to share new content / information more broadly. Proactively looking for opportunities to present to more senior executives (both internally and externally).
An effective and influential communicator, but also strong active listener. You are able to use digestible data to tell compelling story focusing on client's business needs.
You are leading the conversation with our partners around how UNiDAYS can solve for their complex marketing & comercial challenges.
You are able to manage multiple partners and stakeholders at senior executive and C-Level within prestigious businesses.
You are constantly considering new and innovative opportunities to drive business value versus purely product value. Leverage industry benchmarks and trends to define ways to improve key success metrics.
Apply strong judgement around escalation scenarios to mitigate risk and drive results. Seeks opportunities to participate in more strategic and C-
level client meetings to share insights supported by data.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
2+ years proven track record within an account management and / or sales role, preferably from either a Advertising or SaaS background
The ability to manage multiple partners and stakeholders at senior executive and C-Level within prestigious businesses
Meticulously organized and excellent time management
Ability to package, negotiate and sell complex, global media campaigns
Comfortable with numbers and analyzing large data sets
IT proficient and experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite
Skilled at managing expectations both internally and externally
Confident and articulate communicator with excellent presentation skills
Passionate and tenacious approach
A keen interest in the technology industry and student demographic
