This position is entry-level for basic User-centred Design (UCD) process and deliverables for a specific project with a primary focus on current product releases and ensuring a good user experience.

The position will also assist in the developing strategy for the product.

Accountabilities :

  • Define basic user experience concepts and components for the product or project using tools such as wireframes, prototypes, and process flow diagrams.
  • Execute on usability testing for applicable projects.
  • Ensure functional and visual consistency between various customer-facing products / applications.
  • Ensure users are considered at every phase of the product development process.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and trends in the web design space. Work closely with visual designers and web developers to ensure the UX is implemented as designed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Technical Skills :

  • Basic knowledge of Human Factors Engineering and other User-centred Design methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale, both verbally and visually, to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Good interaction design skills and attention to detail.
  • Deliver / implement basic UCD solutions / processes.
  • Basic collaboration.
  • Basic oral and written communication skills
  • Qualifications :

  • BS Human Factors Engineering / Computer Science / Psychology or equivalent experience required
  • Basic knowledge of Human Factors Engineering and other User-centred Design methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale, both verbally and visually, to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Good interaction design skills and attention to detail.
  • Deliver / implement basic UCD solutions / processes.
  • Basic collaboration.
  • Basic oral and written communication skills.
