What we’re looking for :

Working as part of a busy and high performing Reward & Service Delivery Team, this key role will drive continuous improvement to both the department and to Kuehne and Nagel’s wider HR function.

You will provide expert advice to the wider HR function in terms of Reward and benefits for the UK business. All areas of Rewards and Benefits will sit within your remit this includes managing the annual pay review and business cycles, advising on job grades, producing the annual gender pay gap report and ensuring Reward policies and change programmes are implemented and reviewed.

You will also have line management responsibility for 1 person.

What you’ll do :

  • Manage and own the annual Pay Review & Bonus cycle, produce the annual Gender Pay Gap Report, maintain & develop Reward policies, take ownership of the Reward & Benefit communications
  • Advise & work closely with the wider HR teams on TUPE issues either in or out
  • Proactively provide benchmarking data on salaries & benefits, advise on salary rates of international hires
  • Offer thought leadership and market insights to the UK business
  • Manage external benefit partners and vendors
  • Review contracts of employment on a regular basis, this includes salaries & packages. Ensure that the business is aware of market trends as well as reviewing monthly Reward KPI’s, analysis, economic indicators and compiling the Remuneration paper for the board
  • Work closely with the HR / Payroll & Finance Teams on specific projects such as the introduction and implementation of our new HR system in the next 12 months and the introduction of flexible benefits to the business
  • Manage benefits on a monthly / annual basis including Life Assurance, Private Health Insurance, Pensions Management Institute Vendor management, renewal, cost management, negotiation and flexible benefits
  • What you’ll bring :

  • You will be a Graduate and CIPD qualified or equivalent
  • Experience of business partnering at Senior Manager level influencing key stakeholders in this role is critical as is the ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong HR project management experience with a business and commercial acumen
  • Change management experience including implementation
  • Good working knowledge of HR best practice approaches
  • Superior analytical skills; advanced Excel skills gained within a Reward environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify reward topics
  • The ability to work in a highly agile, fast paced matrix environment whilst managing a variety of senior stakeholders (HR Directors, Business Unit Directors and executive committee members) with the ability to clearly translate strategy into action
