Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Multidisciplined Maintenance Manager with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry with particular onshore refinery experience.
This is a permanent staff role based in the Humberside area.
Direct and lead a multidisciplined MEI team of over 100 individuals.
To ensure HSEQ values are delivered and adhered to at all times, pro-actively leading and demonstrating safety behavioural values.
Provide operational, strategic management and delivery to support and drive contracts. Promote, represent and enhance Company reputation internally and externally with clients and Industry Bodies.
Assist with developing and delivering a robust contract plan, whilst driving and supporting corporate initiatives, ensuring company values are at the core of all activities.
Responsible for large revenue delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for :
o Health, Safety and Environmental excellence
o P & L responsibility with associated commercial and financial accountability :
o Margin determination, management and enhancement through maximising KPI's
o Revenue delivery and overhead management
o Budget and forecast determination and attainment
o Risk and opportunity reviews
o Cost controls seek to continuously improve processes and procedures
o Management of accounts payable / billing
o Regular review of business performance with associated action plans to ensure attainment of objectives
o Support the client as required
o Develop a culture of integration between Client and Contract
o Seek to understand and deliver customer required level of service, whilst maintaining a balance between approved and unapproved work
o Endeavour to improve scope of work / offering
o Responsive to customer demands whilst ensuring Company integrity and values are adhered to
o Enhance customers experience by pro-actively seeking improvements to add value to their offering
o Foster and enhance relationship management with open, honest and effective communications
Maintain operational integrity and excellence
o Harness cross-functional expertise and apply
o Develop and implement a focused strategy at Contract level
o Develop and produce robust business statistics to support and report on performance of area of responsibility
o Governance of projects within area of responsibility
o Support bid and tender activity as required
o Management of sub-contractors where required
o Pro-actively demonstrate leadership in Human Factors management and ensure adherence to lead and focus the team to attain all HSE plans, ensuring all plants have HSEQ plans in place, supporting continuous improvement
o Ownership of HSEQ matters across Contract visible commitment to Safety Leadership
o Ensuring legislative compliance
Support and lead a Contract team
o Development of team ability to identify and develop talent
o Identification of future business people requirements
o Ensure delivery and effective performance management of team / individuals
o Shape and define contract direction
o Recruitment, selection and development of the team
o Act as a coach / mentor
