The ideal candidate will have significant experience of Sales and New Business Development within IoT / Data and Business Analytics disciplines, and must be able to demonstrate prior sales success and knowledge of both technical and business related strategies.
You will identify and create new opportunities leading to incremental revenue for Oracle’s Analytics and Data intelligence product lines within the Ireland territory.
Accountable to manage the sales cycles, forecast and close opportunities within their domain.
Proactively generate new opportunities within the Analytics and Data Intelligence sphere by creating customer centric solutions that deliver value across their enterprise.
Develops relationships with Client CIO’s, CxO, and Lines of Business Owners (HR, Marketing, Finance). Has direct relationship with Oracle’s key partners to facilitate the development of full, robust customized solutions.
Collaborates with the Cloud Platform Representative and Oracle Application Representatives to drive and close revenue gaining market share with the objective of Growth for Oracle UK in this market
Working with Oracle product and marketing disciplines, the candidate will contribute to new innovative solutions that address customer needs and opportunities in the Data Intelligence and IoT market
Relates the customer business requirements to Oracle's strategic goals
Creates Business Cases and Customer Proposals to drive tangible benefits for the customer to facilitate execution to close of the solution sale.
Own the highest possible relationships in an account whilst driving a bottom up relationship strategy with all those in contact with the client
Conduct sales presentations for customers and related partners
Build and manage a sustained pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring that all Oracle sales systems are complete and accurate at all times.
Actively develop personal knowledge of industry / market sector, client's business challenges and competitive and economic landscape
Utilises the Oracle ecosystem to maximum effect from architecture through to delivery
High level of customer engagement and face time
Ability to gain access to and operate at Board level (CxO)
Pipeline generation, qualification, review and deal closure
Accurate forecasting and use of all appropriate Oracle Systems
Demonstrable success in thinking differently to effect positive revenue results

Expertise and leadership in emerging technologies e.g. Data Visualisation, Data Intelligence, Machine Learning, Adaptive Intelligence, IoT

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts / non-named accounts / geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).
Primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory. Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities.
Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-
sales support. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in area of specialization.
8 years applicable experience including 7 years of technology sales experience. Ability to forecast, manage sales expenses, and successfully close new Oracle business.
Business development, prospecting and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability. Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory / account development.
Experience as the focal point for clients for all sales and related issues. Oracle knowledge and / or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors.
Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
