We’ve been in business for 13 years and with a development team of over 120 people, we’re one of the largest independent studios in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, key responsibilities include :

  • Run test sessions and plans for our games and tools.
  • Document bugs in our bugs database with concise reproduction steps.
  • Run build verification tests to ensure new builds are suitable for wider testing and highlight any blocking issues .
  • Confirm bugs are fixed by effectively regressing once they are resolved. .
  • Work hand-in-hand with Producers and the wider development team to pro-actively decrease the number of bugs that are introduced into the game.
  • Provide daily status updates and trends to project Producers and the wider development team .
  • Compile reports of defects and design issues found during game testing .
  • Communicate issues, risks and test status in a timely and detailed manner .
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation and quality across all Mediatonic products.
  • Requirements

    We’re looking for someone who has the following :

  • Previous experience of games or software testing, either professionally or as a beta tester.
  • An understanding of software quality assurance practices.
  • Self-driven, problem-solver and a great team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn new abilities and grow.
