We are seeking a Project Manager with prior experience within the field of clinical research as a nurse or trial coordinator.
We are running an exciting study related to identifying Osteoporosis through opportunistic screening in the CT waiting room.
The main role of the post-holder would be to assist in the set-up and implementation of a new study called PHOENIX-F - analysis of routine clinical CT Scans in men and women.
This study involves Cambridge University Hospital as the lead centre and four other centres within East Anglia.
You will be based at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, where you will join Dr Ken Poole's research team.
The ideal candidate would be a nurse or trial co-ordinator with experience of research and solid knowledge of the research pathway / process.
Experience in multicentre clinical trials within a related field would be a distinct advantage. You will be responsible for the relevant Ethics and the accurate recording, extraction, checking and entry of clinical data onto bespoke databases, and will contribute to the co-
ordination and monitoring of the study. You will require a high degree of attention to detail, good communication and organisational skills and be able to work independently.
Funds are available for 30 hours per week. This post will require some regional travel.
