Your tasks

  • Assume the role of both Managing Director for our UK entity and Head of Business Development Northern Europe in order to drive and increase sales across the company’s full service and product portfolio;
  • Lead business operations for the UK (currently a team of 7 in two locations) and business development of the region Northern Europe including UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Benelux, and South Africa;
  • Develop a business strategy based on the analysis of market demands and establish and implement a corresponding business plan;
  • Build a strong relationship with Dennemeyer’s customers to retain existing business and further cross-sell Dennemeyer services;
  • Drive the business forward through developing an innovative and personalized approach to new and existing customers that strengthens the Dennemeyer brand and reputation in the region;
  • Provide inspirational leadership and coaching to staff, including sales and operational teams in a matrix organization structure;
  • Responsible for setting up new locations and for hiring new resources in the dedicated sales territory;
  • P&L and sales budget responsibility.
  • Your profile

  • University degree in economics, law or engineering or similar;
  • 2-5 years of experience in complex B2B Sales, legal consultancy or similar, ideally already experience in an MD position;
  • Leadership personality as well a proven experience managing virtual teams in a matrix organization is essential;
  • Drive and motivation, dynamic personality with entrepreneurial skills;
  • Strong business acumen as well as a deep understanding of sales and business development;
  • Highly analytical and strategic way of working and able to understand complex matters;
  • Customer-oriented approach, excellent interpersonal skills and empathy;
  • Knowledge of Intellectual Property would be clearly an asset;
  • Experience with CRM systems, especially Salesforce is a plus;
  • Excellent communication skills in English are essential, other languages of the sales region would be an asset.
