What You’ll do
Cisco is seeking a Senior Architect leading Cisco mobility architecture and solutions focused on the EMEAR Global Service Provider (GSP) accounts, as they are adopting 5G technologies.
Who You’ll work with
You will be responsible for driving the end-to-end mobility architecture insertion in the EMEAR region working closely with the technical pre-
sales teams to help enable grow Cisco mobility business. This means close interlock with field and engineering teams as well as with identified partners to understand and meet customer requirements.
This is an ideal position for someone who has a proven track record in working with customers and development organizations to insert and evolve technical solutions in the mobility area.
You will be contributing to Cisco overall architecture and strategy working on different solution including physical and virtual EPC (Cisco Ultra), control plane element (Policy, slicing, orchestration), SON and IOT.
In addition, it is key to understand Cisco wider SP strategy and portfolio (e.g. SP DC strategy, transport) to build a truly end-to-end 5G solution.
You will be establishing strategic relationship with the major EMEAR GSP Account teams and the Cisco engineering organizations that is visible to the team, customer and Cisco internal organizations (Development, Services, Marketing, Finance, etc.).
You will be leading the focused technical / architecture strategy for Mobility across EMEAR GSP resources to build a community, provide focus and successful customer engagement.
You will lead interlock process between the Field Sales team and the Development organizations to define and prioritize key technical requirement for products, solutions and services to meet current and future customer needs.
Provide focus for the successful insertion of 5G ensuring Cisco is positioned as a trusted advisor with the customer.
You will build relationships with customer executives, vendors, partners and corporate service organizations to position Cisco technology architectures and manage successful demos / CPOCs that allow customers to gain competitive advantage through use of Cisco technology.
You will be representing Cisco at internal and external events (SP events, public events) position Cisco mobility strategy.
Continuous self and team development with regard to fast-paced and changing Cloud, Open Source Software and DevOps technologies and processes to ensure state-
of-the-art readiness to apply diverse solutions to customers' business and technical requirements.
Who You are
5+ years related experience.
Mobile vendor or SP experience
Cisco experience highly desirable
Pre-Sales experience required.
Typically requires BS / BA (EE / CS) or equivalent.
MBA or equivalent highly desirable.
Deep Business and Technical understand of selling and deploying Mobile solutions
Excellent written, oral communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
