We're looking for an HR professional with experience in Reward to join our team based in Manchester, as a Reward Business Partner.
This role provides a reward centre of excellence service to the UK and International* business area. The job involves the development and design of business specific reward solutions to enable attraction, retention and engagement of people whilst ensuring they are consistent with the reward framework for the UK and Group.
The type of work you do will require interpretation and a level of specialist skills. You will spend the majority of your time understanding and interpreting business needs by guiding and supporting HR & Business Leaders on aspects of salary planning, job evaluation, grading and performance salary benchmarking.
You will also conduct research and use market data to analysis and designing solutions to meet business and legislative requirements pay solutions.
You will also contribute to UK International strategic reward activities. You will work in an environment where you will regularly work face to face with HR business partners as well as our business leaders to enable a deep understanding of current and future reward challenges.
You will enjoy using your strong analytical, communication, influencing and relationship building skills to deliver specialist guidance and support to the business, with the ability to provide constructive challenge.
UK & International covers a number of European and Middle Eastern Countries, as well as UK based people

RSA Size & Scope :
This role reports into the Head of UK & International Reward. The reward team is a small team of people and so technical reward knowledge is critical as the role works independently.
Jobholder Requirements :
Regular UK travel will be required in this role
Responsibilities Will Include
Contributing to the planning and delivery of reward strategies and initiatives aligned to UK business requirements.
Working with HR and the businesses to identify, understand and resolve the impact of business changes and HR initiatives on current and future reward strategies.
Providing guidance and support to HR in managing local, complex compensation and benefits issues, enabling swift, consistent and quality resolution.
Contribute to the development and delivery of the UK & International reward cycle and process, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
Leading the delivery of Reward (may be specialised area e.g. pensions / shares etc.) initiatives within the business to ensure approaches are adequately developed and practically applied to enable achievement of individual learning and business objectives.
Developing and building effective relationships with HR Directors and business stakeholders to ensure reward solutions are delivered in line with business, UK and global reward strategies
Sourcing and managing appropriate local suppliers / partners to support design and development of Reward initiatives and programmes.
Support the design and development of existing and new policies across the UK, ensuring they meet the legal requirements, and support the business strategy.
Developing tools to coach line managers and UK leaders in reward decision making
Responsible for ensuring adherence to policies and Reward in accordance with the defined governance requirements
Skills and Knowledge Required
Experience of delivering Reward projects on with large scale implementation
Experience of building effective working relationships with business stakeholders
Experience of operating in a unionised environment
The ability to influence at a senior level
