Overview :

Reporting to the UK COO, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of change within the SEI Europe Private Banking and wealth platform business unit.

You will manage the change process form business case approval through to implementation, working with internal stakeholders, clients and partners to deliver successful change programs.

As Head of Change Management, you will provide project governance, best practice and resources to projects & initiatives across a range of business areas including operational improvements, regulatory agendas, product development and client change.

You will lead and manage the on-boarding of new clients and the implementation of new services and technology.

What you'll do :

SEI is continually developing its services and technology capability, managing the implications of change both to operations and the client experience is critical to the stability SEI’s on-

going business in the UK. Key strategic deliverables are scalability, proposition development, and process re-engineering.

In managing change, this role will define and lead a change management methodology & delivery within SEI to ensure continuity of service & that regulatory & business obligations remain consistent & compliant.

The Head of Change Management is accountable for the successful delivery of UK Private Banking project activities and the management of the associated resources, work queues, practices and processes utilized by SEI to deliver change to the business and operation, including :

oRegulatory projects

oOversight of wider change initiatives

Responsible for the development of Change practices and culture in the UK. You will work in partnership with other teams in the UK and the US based technical teams to ensure and authorize successful installation of change management practices that include :

oClient and Operational readiness

oChange risk assessment and management

oChange impact assessment

Design and the lead a change management competency footprint and capability in the UK

oTraining and industry standards (e.g. Prince)

oProject reporting, business case documentation and approval process

oWorkforce strategy (roles and skills)

oProvide MI and board reporting

Team Management

Recruit, motivate, manage and develop the team including :

Conduct an annual review to assess individual performance against objectives, identify strengths and development areas and set objectives / development opportunities over the coming year.

This should be followed up with regular reviews to adjust / realign as appropriate

Handle any employee related issues (performance, grievance, disciplinary, sickness, etc.) that may arise within the team in conjunction with HR

Ensure we recruit the best talent available outlining job specifications and conducting any briefing sessions / interviews / assessments / feedback, etc.

as required in conjunction with internal recruitment and in line with a revised technology workforce strategy

Work with internal HR and recruitment to ensure continual development and retention of top talent within the team.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation in which the employee is based and company policy and procedures.

Best Practice :

Adhere to all relevant FCA requirements and compliance

Adhere to SEI policies and guidelines

Position Requirements

What you'll bring to the table :

Credible wealth management and private banking industry experience. This should include a working knowledge of the industry dynamics, business strategies, products and operating platforms

Extensive project management experience within a financial services and / or outsourcing environment

Suitable qualification in project management : (Agile, P2 etc.)

Successful implementation and client / asset migration project leadership experience

Experience in managing organizational change.

Demonstrated ability to lead a team of resources operating across different roles and sets of activities.

SEI and platform experience very beneficial

Proven ability to lead the assessment and redesign of business processes

Ability to be credible in communications with executives
