THE ROLE :
As part of your role as a web analyst, you will work alongside a vibrant team of analytical experts to define measurement strategies for our clients, this will include KPI discovery sessions with our clients to understand how best to optimize their websites.
As part of the wider team you’ll work alongside a team of developers where you will gain a wider understanding of tools such as Adobe and Google Tag Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES :
Defining measurement strategy for our clients; identifying data requirements to support measurement strategy / framework, defining KPIs based on business / marketing objectives.
Provide tagging instructions and configure web analytics tools (Adobe / Google Analytics) so that they are optimal for our clients’ use.
Work alongside the development team to implement tagging specification.
Development of reports, dashboards and analysis of analytical and statistical reports with recommendations.
Meet development deadlines to ensure requirements are included.
Test and validate analytics and marketing tags using a range of products such as Browserstack and ObservePoint.
Perform technical audits (manually or using ObservePoint) of a client’s web analytics capabilities.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, developments, and best-practices.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS :
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both business and technical areas and ability to communicate with peers, senior management and clients alike
Some experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
Demonstrated data analysis experience in Marketing or eCommerce or a related field
Awareness of insight tools such as Decibel Insight and Tableau
DESIRABLE SKILLS :
Strong knowledge of analytics tools such as Google and Adobe Analytics
Experience using data insight tools such a Decibel Insight and Tableau.
