construction health and safety and design management.

The role of the Assistant Principal Designer
Assistance in design review consultancy for the client
Assist with the overall design process ensuring compliance with CDM2015
Report to the Principal Design, monitoring progress of process
Review design schematics and provide a professional advice to improve compliance
Ensure adherence to current legislation, standards and codes of practice
The Successful Assistant Principal Designer
The successful Assistant Principal Designer should ideally hold the following :
NEBOSH Construction Certified
Membership of IOSH - Tech minimum
A relevant qualification in Architecture, Surveying or Design at LVL 6 / Degree level
A good working knowledge and understanding of the CDM Regulations 2015
A strong understanding of design and health and safety in construction
2 + year experience within a CDM Advisory role
Excellent organisation and presentation skills
The Package of the successful Assistant Principal Designer :
Up to £40,000 per annum based on experience
Travel and Accommodation expenses paid
