Do you have green fingers ? Are you looking for a role to make use of your gardening skills ?

If you enjoy gardening , and are reliable and friendly , then this could be the perfect role for you!

We are a supported living service in Plymouth, supporting six people who have a learning disability to live independently.

The people we support have a lovely size garden and are very enthusiastic about gardening.

This role will involve basic gardening skills to help create and maintain an accessible and attractive outside space for the people we support to use and enjoy.

We also hope that as a Volunteer Gardener you will work alongside the people we support to make decisions about their garden, learn new gardening skills and be active.

We are extremely flexible with the dates and times people can volunteer. As a Volunteer Gardener, you will get the opportunity to :

  • Increase your experience in gardening
  • Learn more about learning disabilities
  • Spend some time in the outdoors
  • Know that you are doing something that will make a huge difference to the lives of the people we support
