Why this role matters
The Network Delivery role follows a logical approach to carry out diagnostics on service provision / restoration activities for complex customer issues / requirements, providing a resolution to minimise the impact to customer experience.
Specifically the role is accountable for : negotiating with customers / vendors and to drive vendor / supplier to reach root cause and to take corrective action.
The role holder will also be responsible for assessing the risk of impact of changes across the network, minimising the impact to customer experience, with occasional SME support.
What you'll be doing
Owning the diagnosis and resolution of complex network issues OR rollout of new network elements / features to minimise the impact to customer service.
Using detailed technical knowledge of networks and services to enable risk assessment of impacts on wider network integrity and service delivery.
Providing technical expertise and support for team members including allocation of work.
Engaging with customers, suppliers and technical teams to resolve issues which require further intervention to resolve.
Ensuring high quality documentation is in place to mitigate risk, support handover and share knowledge with team.
Owning identification and implementation of improvements to ways of working.
Negotiating with customers / vendors and to drive vendor / supplier to reach root cause and to take corrective action.
Assessing the risk of impact of changes across the network, minimising the impact to customer experience, with occasional SME support.

Experience in an engineering / testrole with a technical background training will then be provided in specific Openreach access technology
Proven track record of working as part of a technology team, with 2-4 years experience working in a relevant technology domain
