Denholm is working with a leading financial services organisation in Edinburgh on a Senior Investment Marketing Manager role to join their Investment Marketing team on an initial 6 month contract.
You will help build and communicate the investment strategy and proposition, ensuring the target audiences (financial advisers, employers, and investors) understand and ultimately select company funds which has a multi-
million pound impact on company revenues.
This requires a deep understanding of investments generally, a detailed knowledge of the company proposition and the ability to build powerful, engaging campaigns and communications which turn both internal and external audiences on to the benefits of using Investments.
Experience of delivering successful investment campaigns and communications which result in the movement of clients monies to a particular provider or fund manager is a rare but vital requirement.
Summary of role :
Translate business plan into high impact, results-orientated go to market investment marketing strategies for adviser, employer and customer audiences.
Simplify complex technical investment information into clear marketing messages, demonstrating a deep understanding of investment and industry themes.
Design and deliver a clear investment marketing campaign plan to drive desired customer responses such as retention, consolidation or acquisition.
Integrate requirements into wider team plans to ensure all routes for messaging are considered influencing colleagues in the Investment, Marketing and Sales to bring investment marketing campaign elements to those colleagues’ plans.
Ensure all campaigns are targeted correctly, using industry, audience, competitor and market insight to achieve commercial objectives.
Collaborate with investment design / delivery and marketing analytics / intelligence to segment and understand client base and prospects for targeted programmes.
Work with them to deliver clear fund positioning, segmentation, value proposition, offers and messaging.
Clearly explain the company approach to investment governance within the context of the current and evolving regulatory framework.
Work with investment analysts to ensure investment marketing campaign materials are underpinned by robust data.
Manage allocated budgets and ensure resources are coordinated effectively from across the business.

Experience you must have :
Significant investment marketing experience (+5 years).
Investment marketing campaign strategy and execution.
Multi-channel expertise, covering financial advisers, employers and investors.
Thorough knowledge of both current digital and traditional marketing techniques.
