Young Epilepsy is the leading national charity working exclusively to improve the lives of children and young people with epilepsy and associated conditions, and is based on a beautiful campus in Lingfield, Surrey, providing world class services.
As a Support Worker in Residential Services you will help to give the students the tools and opportunities they need to fulfil their potential and have the best quality of life possible.
You will join a team of established care staff and will be given support and development opportunities.
You will possess the ability to interact and communicate effectively with a range of young people with differing needs, as well as excellent organisational and time management skills and a flexible attitude.
Whilst we welcome applications from individuals with experience of working with children or young people, it isn’t essential as we provide all Support Workers with comprehensive training, starting with an in-
depth induction. We will also support you to achieve an industry recognised qualification.
We offer an attractive range of benefits including generous annual leave, occupational pension scheme, subsidised dining room, gym membership options (on and off-
site) and Perkbox, giving you access to nationwide benefits. We also offer a range of shift patterns and opportunities for overtime.
We are accessible by bus, by train via the East Grinstead branch of the Oxted Line and by car and offer free parking on our campus.

If you do not hear anything within two weeks of the closing date, please assume you have been unsuccessful.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (formerly CRB) will be required.
Young Epilepsy strives to employ people that reflect the community it serves; therefore applications from minority groups and people with disabilities are particularly welcomed.
