Anexciting opportunity is now available within our ambitious market leading businessbased in Poland or Russia. We are looking for a Distributor Manager who iscareer minded, ambitious and commercial to work hand in hand with CountryManager to help drive success in this region.

The region operates indirectly through channel partners and is avery important growth market for Videojet over past number of years, with vastopportunity for further sales success.

The Distributor Manager will provide allnecessary leadership and operational management to achieve market share andsales growth targets whilst improving profitability.

Additionally, theDistributor Manager will serve as the Company’s authorized legal representationto customers, suppliers, associates, and authorities and, always, safeguard theinterest of Danaher and its shareholders.

This willbe a multi-faceted role contributing strongleadership, commercial savvy, and customer focus and playing an essential rolein enabling this business to gain market share from the competitors and achievestrong sales growth.

Your responsibilities :

  • Determineand carry out a sales strategy that will profitably increase market share acrossall product lines through indirect channel partners -
  • measured via marketintelligence and meeting milestones / targets in the strategy.

  • Throughchange management and use of DBS develop the organization to a high level ofexpertise and efficiency in sales, marketing, margin, competitiveness andprofitability -
  • monthly performance targets, including all internal managementreporting requirements. Successful transition of functions into RegionalOperating Centre whilst maintaining customer satisfaction.

  • Motivate& drive the indirect channel partner sales team to hit and exceed monthly,quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Independentlymanage country distributors and ensure growth.
  • Maintaincontact and activate current distributors on : sales forecast, marketing- andcommunication plans, training sales force and / or brand management, solveproblems.
  • Followthe implementation of brand strategies and plans of distributors; analyzefeedback, and propose changes and improvements when necessary to optimizebottom line results.
  • Communicateeffectively within the organization and the distributor teams to ensure themotivation and alignment to achieve sales objectives.
  • Carryingout business plans and setting up sales targets together with distributors.
  • Selectingnew distributors when deemed necessary and following up of contractualagreements.
  • Monitoring / reporting competitive activities in the region.
  • Being presentat regional exhibitions.
  • Dailyleadership, management and prioritization of all business objectives andinitiatives - measured by performance to goals established through policydeployment and the financial budgeting process.
  • Accountable for all aspects of the tradingperformance and cash management of the combined business against an agreedannual plan.
  • measured against the annual profit and cash flow plan.
  • Qualifications

    We arelooking for candidates that have demonstrable negotiation skills within a similarindustry but more importantly demonstrate their ambition to succeed and develop.

    You will also need to have proven flair for leadership and team building, befluent with ROI and value setting. Candidateswill be career minded, have strong business acumen, be able to work with alllevels of stakeholders, be an excellent relationship builder and be willing totravel.

    Candidate will require Polish,English and Russian language skills as a minimum
