Working within a small team based in London, the supply planners work together to support SIEE’s overseas based local Operation teams, as well as internal stakeholders, keeping them up to date on new product releases, product availability and helping them to ensure their local sales plans are achievable.
The planners work closely with European suppliers including the main European warehouse to manage the inbound, assembly and outbound processes as efficiently as possible.
Planners are tasked with preparing and overseeing the production plans for new release products and back catalogue materials.
They are expected to maintain and continuously review their plans with all stakeholders to ensure that delivery is on time and even improved upon where possible, whilst maintaining communication with local Ops teams and suppliers to keep them informed of any key changes or updates.
The planner is responsible for gathering all elements needed to build up their master release plan material data, sku component information and all deadlines.
Stock management is a key part of the role. Ongoing and regular reviews of obsolete or non-moving stock materials and the subsequent development of plans or activities to deal with excess or problematic stock is a fundamental responsibility.
