Job Description

Lucas Professional Search Group is working with a company in Windsor, Ontario in their search for a Controller.

Responsibilities include :

  • Ability to summarize financial and action plans for the management team
  • Analyze operating results against budget
  • Establish key financial and process controls for good business & public company needs
  • Actively participate in management meetings
  • Lead and supervise accounting team
  • Provide insight as it relates to project profitability, risks and opportunities
  • Balance Sheet management - cash flow, foreign exchange management
  • Provide efficient forecasting (cash, revenue, foreign exchange)
  • Lead the implementation and sustainment of an ERP system
  • Establish and maintain standardization of financial procedures and policies
  • Direct and coordinate financial planning and budget management
  • Provide an in-depth understanding of business, levers, risks and opportunities
  • Qualifications include :

  • Professional Accounting Designation
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing company
  • Previous experience in publicly traded company is an asset
  • Strong leadership and strategic experience and skills
  • Proven successful continuous improvement initiatives
  • Excellent communication with the supervisory experience to lead a team
  • Advanced Microsoft knowledge and skills
