The home is designed for the special needs of elderly people with dementia.
What will the role involve?
The role of the Care Assistant is to support our residents with their everyday needs ensuring emotional and social needs are met.
Promoting independence, choice and dignity and assisting where needed with personal care activities such as washing, dressing and meal times.
You will be part of daily recreational social activities within groups and one to one.
Accurate and maintenance of record keeping is essential to ensure the correct care delivery is being delivered and once you have been fully trained and inducted you will also be a mentor for new team members joining.
This is position is to work on our Evening shifts (40 hours per week)
This position would include working alternate weekends
The successful candidate will have an NVQ level 2 or 3.
£8.30 to £8.45 per hour
