Our client is currently looking for Site Reliability Engineers to work at a global scale for their customers. You will be challenged on a daily basis to work with incredibly important clients, to whom you will need to deliver scalable and robust solutions, as well as maintain their performance and stability.
In terms of technology we are looking for candidates who have a strong infrastructure background - and by that I mean a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of Linux Engineering.
You will need to have worked in an engineering position in the past and have covered the basics of networking, monitoring, scripting, virtualization etc.
For our client, Linux is at the heart of the technology stack meaning this is the most important part - the rest can be taught with their fantastic training programme.
Yet, this is not just a traditional Linux Engineering role, you will also have the chance to work with the latest technologies of the day, working extensively with containers, automation, cloud, microservices and continuous integration tools in order to deliver fast and scalable solutions.
Automation and cloud-based technologies will play a fundamental part of this opportunity as our client strives to improve existing processes and evolve solutions using the best solutions possible.
Our client is open to the technologies you have previously had experience with, however, experience with AWS, VMWare, Docker, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Hadoop, ELK stack will be beneficial in this role.
