Job Overview

To assist in the maintenance of financial information for Norbrook Laboratories Limited and any other group companies that may be assigned to the position.

The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the information is both received in a timely manner and is complete and accurate.

Main Activities / Tasks

  • Maintain Accounts Payable ledger, ensuring all invoices have received appropriate approval and invoices paid within their credit terms.
  • Production of month-end financial reports for inclusion in Management accounts.
  • Cash book postings.
  • Creditor statement reconciliations.
  • Bank account reconciliations.
  • Monthly analysis of expenses.
  • Act as project manager for bespoke projects to drive innovation.
  • General administration duties.
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required.
  • Essential Criteria :

  • Educated to GCSE level with a grade A C in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • At least two years’ experience of working in a busy finance environment with direct involvement in accounts payable / receivable activities.
  • Experience of Managing a portfolio of suppliers.
  • Experience of month-end procedures.
  • A high level of proficiency on MS Office applications including Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
  • Desirable Criteria :

  • Educated to A-Level or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of Spectra and Sage or similar financial package.
  • Duration : Full Time, Permanent
