Our client is one of the UK’s leading independent Environmental Consultancies and are looking to recruit an experienced Ecologist to join their office in Oxfordshire.
This client is particularly keen to hear from all Ecologists looking to progress into a Senior / managerial position, particularly if you have experience in Bat and Dormouse surveying.
As a senior ecologist your day to day activities will involve surveying and reporting environmental standards by taking note of its animals, plants and biodiversity.
This client looks to identify and solve any constraints or obstacles a site may have before production, therefore, managing wildlife, researching human activity and building model predictions is expected.
To be considered for this position, you will need to have a degree in environmental science or a similar ecological discipline.
You will need experience in team management and the ability to lead a team while issuing a wide range of ecological projects.
Experience in conducting ecological and protected species surveys is vital to this position as well as producing species reports and assessments.
It is necessary that you hold at least one protected species license and the ability to outline and manage budget reports.
