This aspirational school is seeking a graduate of Science or Maths, someone with a strong academic background and with hopes of forging a career in Secondary Education.

Essentially, you will be a successful and diligent graduate who is looking to inspire young minds and gain some classroom experience working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.

With the full support, guidance and training from your SLT and Head of Department; you will develop and hone your communication skills, your adaptability and your creativeness.

Your role as a Teaching Assistant in the STEM department will see you working across both KS4 & KS5 supporting different classes ranging in ability and aptitude levels.

A brilliant Teaching Assistant will be able to adapt their teaching angles and communication methods to support the development of students who require extra assistance with understanding subject matter, and equally be able to challenge those that already have a firm grasp of curricular modules.

Your role of support will see you working with both large groups and small groups of students, and potentially on a one to one basis closer to exam period.
