Trilogy is currently recruiting for a Stores Technician who will be responsible for receiving goods in and maintaining stores.

Prepares items for outward shipping. Kits sales orders ready for test, kits free-issue builds to works orders. Configures products to customer’s requirements ready for final system test.

Provides support to Production in maintaining an ESD safe and FOD free environment. Assists with electronic rework and assembly as required.

What you will do in this position :

  • Goods receiving on ERP system, labelling, and location of stock after receipt
  • Kitting of free issue kits prior to release to subcontractor, controlling stock movement on ERP system.
  • Performs ongoing stock checks and participates in annual stock take.
  • Actions weekly casual usage stock transactions.
  • Working with Material Controller on priority, kitting sequence, and release to subcontractors.
  • Packs all items required for dispatch, ensuring compliance with company packing instructions.
  • Works with Production Engineering and Supervisor to maintain packing instruction to ensure all products leave the building with suitable protection and that documentation supports repeat-ability.
  • Tracks packaging stock levels and raises purchase requisitions as required.
  • Configures units with hardware options to meet Sales Order requirements, ensuring compliance with latest assembly procedures and MRP system Bill of Materials.
  • Works with Test Department to ensure Sales Orders configured in correct sequence.
  • Updates configurations status system to ensure WIP reports accurately reflect status.
  • Product Assembly

  • Completes small batch product builds, when required, ensuring compliance with latest assembly procedures and IPC-610 / J-STD-001.
  • Completes WIP paperwork prior to transferring assemblies to Test Department.
  • Carries out rework of electronic assemblies to IPC-610 / J-STD-001.
  • What you need to succeed in this position :

  • Understanding of electronic component handling
  • Stores experience
  • Ability to rework electronic assemblies to IPC-610 / J-STD-001 standard
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
