Role Summary

The main purpose of the EQ Boardroom Product Specialist role is to ensure that the correct level of product governance is maintained across all the different departments and teams that together form the products within the Equiniti business.

Governance coverage includes regulatory guidelines, legal advice, our service agreements, our client contracts, our operational processes and our business strategy.

The role is also responsible for developing the product to meet market and regulatory requirements.Some of the following products are covered by the area : Some of the following products are covered by the area : Share Registration Corporate Sponsored Nominee DRIP Executive and Discretionary plans Global Nominee UK and International SAYE Share Incentive Plans ESP Portal

Department Information

The EQ Boardroom Product Control Team own and support both the Registration and Employee Services products that Equiniti administer on behalf a wide range of clients.

The Product Team work with our partners in operations ,client services and various other internal stakeholders to ensure we provide a first class service to these clients from implementation through the life of their plans and products.

We work closely with the BID team on tenders for new business and are involved in the migration of new clients into Equiniti.

Once a client is with us we ensure their product is run with the correct level of product governance in place. As a team we are in the forefront of developing our product and the systems that support it.

We are also heavily involved with any new regulatory requirements being implemented into the business with GDPR being one of the major projects we are currently working on.

Core Duties / Responsibilities

Successful candidate will be responsible for the following : Chair a regular product review meeting with key stakeholders Conduct an annual Value and Risk assessment of the Data on the Products they have been asked to administer.

Conduct an annual product review to ensure compliance to regulations, contracts and terms and conditions. This will include a risk review and a fit for market review Conduct an annual operations audit to ensure compliance to policies and procedures Provide pricing / service quotes for new business opportunities and contract renewals including dealing commissions and FX rates where applicable.

Keep up to date information relating to the clients for who we administer registers and plans (contract, revenue, services sold etc.

Regularly review marketing materials to ensure accuracy and inclusion of any product changes Manage / oversee changes to terms and conditions Oversee / authorise changes to paper or eforms Be the point of reference for product related questions and permissions.

Review documentation and where needed respond to questions arising from sales pitches On occasions, be available to talk to clients about the product Work with the Innovation and Business Development Managers to develop the products Work with the other Product Owners to manage / oversee changes and cross over between products Manage regulatory change and be a key stakeholder in any business wide change programmes
