Our client, a successful service provider, are seeking an experienced Technical / Building Auditor to join their team.

Key Responsibilities :

The Technical / Building Auditor is part of an auditing team which are field based providing quality assurance, supplier management, asset review and cost assessment services across multiple contracts.

  • Deputise for the Technical / Building Asset Lead where necessary.
  • Monitor own performance and report areas requiring support.
  • Maintain KPI measures.
  • Ensure audits are carried out to schedule.
  • Provide a coordinated audit service minimising disruption to client operational activities.
  • Review customer perception results from site in conjunction with audit findings.
  • Support operational teams in their liaison with client representatives.
  • Liaison with clients to develop relationships and understand business requirements.
  • Review and report own requirements for ad hoc training on an as required basis.
  • Responsible for own H&S and that of your colleagues.
  • Lead the Audit Team in the enhancement of systems and procedures to the benefit of client.
  • Assist with the continuous development of the audit team.
  • Develop and promote a clear understanding of the client’s activities and requirements in order to provide a best in class knowledgeable service.
  • Ensure that at all times the image of the provision of services reflects the professional image of the client and strive to continually improve the perception of the company.
  • Assist with the implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Competencies :

  • Educated and experienced at an operational level in a technical discipline relevant to FM.
  • Suitable & sufficient broad FM management related experience to allow for assessment of other FM services outside of specialist discipline.
  • Ability to follow and asses H&S competency with documentary processes for both personal and others.
  • Technical report writing skills.
  • Understanding of building compliance & legislation.
  • Intermediate IT skills in MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Applies procedures flexibly.
  • Analytical Thinking ability to identify key issues.
  • Organised approach to prioritise and delegate.
  • Identify customer needs and prioritise add value wins.
  • Tailors communications to the receiving audience.
  • Builds rapport and takes steps to persuade within a technical elements
  • Experience and Skills :

    A minimum of five years’ experience working within an FM or H&S based discipline within both an operational capacity. Have a proven ability to provide technical assistance to both technical and non-

    technical persons within the identified discipline. Ability to successfully manage time keeping and work content working as an individual and as part of a small technical team within tight deadlines.

  • Raising & Closing of NCR’s
  • Understanding of contract requirements
  • Understanding of building compliance & legislation
  • Understanding of waste and soft service provision
  • Identifying best value
  • Reviewing work standards
  • Client policies and procedures
  • Asset condition assessment
  • Fit for purpose assessments
  • Provision of timely reports
  • Qualifications :

  • Educated to a minimum HNC level in a technical discipline relevant to FM
  • Suitable & sufficient broad FM management related experience
  • Proven H&S competency
  • Qualified Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Technical report writing skills
  • Understanding of building compliance & legislation
  • Intermediate IT skills in MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Hold or ability to pass CTC security clearance
  • Certificated Lead Auditor
