Job Description

Work as Clinical Nurse Manager (Supernumerary) for one of the most highly regarded care homes South Wales has to offer. A fantastic opportunity to enjoy taking full responsibility for your own department and supporting a highly experienced home manager in running an outstanding nursing home situated close to the Llanedeyrn area of Cardiff.

With a portfolio of 20 luxury care villages this family-run care provider takes a fully resident focused approach to care and have been widely recognised for this through press appearances and several awards and nominations in the national care awards.

Responsibilities of Clinical Nurse Manager will include :

  • Schedule and carry out family meetings prior to resident 'move in'
  • Manage the care assessment process to ensure each individual in your care has the appropriate level of clinical care and support
  • Communicate regularly with families, GPs and other multi agency professionals.
  • Responsibility for overseeing your departmental budget.
  • The ideal candidate to fulfil the role of Clinical Nurse Manager will :

  • Hold a current Nursing pin
  • Have a clear and thorough knowledge of the CSSIW standards.
  • Must have proven experience at supervisory level within an elderly care setting having previously worked as one of the following : Home Manager, Deputy Home Manager, Nurse Manager or Clinical Lead etc

  • £42,000pA - £46,000pa basic salary
  • Up to 15% Annual peroformance related bonus (£6,900)
