Senior Treasury Business Analyst
Job location : Weybridge, UK The European hub of Cargill’s global Treasury provides our businesses across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region with the critical support they need to run their business on a day-
to-day basis and make important future decisions including; financial consulting and analysis, funding and foreign exchange, global treasury services (cash management) and credit access & bank relationship management.
The Treasury Center of Expertise (CoE) is part of the Treasury Process Data and Technology (PDT) group, critical to the Treasury organization globally, ensuring Treasury’s processes, data and technology are enabling the business.
This high-performing, global team will be required to understand Treasury’s business needs and drivers and to become experts in Treasury’s core processes and technology.
The CoE will ensure the systems in place for Treasury are able to meet the needs of the business processes and that those systems are continually improved and enhanced to support Cargill’s growth.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to be a key member of the Treasury CoE with a primary focus on;
Assisting with Mergers, Acquisitions and Joint Ventures as they impact treasury
Supporting business users of treasury managed systems
Supporting Cargill’s deployment of SAP
Training users on treasury systems
Documenting processes, policies, training and project related requirements
Main Tasks :
Coordinate / project manage procedural and system changes such as deployment of SAP
Participate in system deployments, upgrades and other specific Treasury projects
Assisting solutions build teams with requirements gathering, analysis and documentation, system interface design, testing, change management, user training and post implementation hyper care
Drive system optimisation by acting as a subject matter expert to review current processes
Advise on leveraging industry best practice and applying this to Cargill
work with the business users to validate their requires for enhancements and modifications and the supporting documentation
partner with different groups internal and external to Cargill including but not limited to, Treasury, Cargill Business Services, Cargill IT, external systems and service vendors
provide daily support on systems used by treasury including but not limited to; WSS, IRIS, CMS, SAP, FXAll
Ensure static data is correctly configured and in adherence to Cargill standards
Create and implement controls to ensure that errors and exceptions are dealt with and there is optimal and consistent system usage globally
Develop metrics to track usage and resolution time of issues
Develop and deploy user training materials and run training sessions
produce accurate documentation relating to policies, processes and user guides
A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject ( Finance or Economics) or equivalent qualification
Experience in business analysis within Treasury or Financial Markets including requirements gathering, process and system design creating and executing test plans, design documentation and creation and delivery of user training materials
Proven project management experience and change management experience within a large complex organization ideally global across multiple stakeholders, regions and time zones
A formal project management certification such as PMP / PRINCE II would be preferred
Proven experience in business process redesign
Experience working with third party technology and or banking service providers
Experience working in or deploying one of the following system (SAP, especially FI and any in house cash management modules), Wall Street Systems, AS400 applications (IRIS or JDE)
Knowledge of operations cash management or accounting
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
Ability to take initiative, work independently and in team, prioritise and make decisions quickly under tight deadlines
Fluent English (spoken and written) is required but any additional language fluency may be advantageous
Due to the nature of being in a global projects team there is a requirement for flexibility to ensure business deadlines are met
International travel for periods of up to 2 weeks at a time will be required
