Aveda UK have an excellent opportunity for an Online Assistant to join the UK Online team. We are looking for an Online Assistant who can help to build on the growth of the Aveda UK website and support the Online Retail Manager to continue to drive our sales growth and build our relationship with retailer.com teams.
The successful candidate will preferably be of graduate level with previous relevant work experience. They must be hard-
working and ambitious; showing good interpersonal and communication skills.
Plenty of focus and initiative is essential in addition to having strong attention to detail, time management and organisation skills.
Proficient computer skills are required in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Finally, passion for and interest in the beauty and fragrance industry is a must.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
EMAIL & SITE CONTENT
Managing all offer codes, ensuring that codes are set up and tested ahead of email sends and analysing offer code performance.
Responsible for sourcing image and video assets for emails and site refreshes.
Assisting the Online Assistant Manager to create content for email marketing campaigns.
Assisting the Online Assistant Manager to brief in email designs and onsite assets to the Digital Design team.
Managing the visual merchandising across all categories on site (ensuring relevant display order, correct images, names and pricing).
Auditing the site to ensure stocks remain healthy across key categories including checkout samples.
Ownership of localising Living Aveda content from the US site.
Responsible for setting up new products in .NET with all relevant information ahead of new launches.
Responsible for onsite CMS and SEO updates
Responsible for generating and analysing the weekly, monthly & quarterly online & digital marketing reports.
To create and build upon a Competitor Analysis Report to help the team remain engaged with the digital beauty industry.
Build relationships with product marketing teams to understand launches, target markets and planned global / in store marketing initiatives to build an online launch that creates a 360 customer experience
Provide general support to the Online team in other areas especially around key launches.
Carry out online site audits to ensure all new launches and existing lines are in stock, uploaded and merchandised correctly.
Populate Online Retailer New Lines Forms for new brand launches.
Create monthly online retailer highlights deck to share with wider business.
Pull weekly / monthly online retailer sales reports to share with wider business.
Update / monitor Online Retailer Calendar.
Carry out competitor analysis and identify brand opportunities.
Manage online sampling and gift with purchase.
Ad hoc assistance on retailers’ sites.

Educated to degree level
Previous e-commerce experience is required. An understanding of how to use a Content Management System is desired but not essential.
Excellent ability to work in a team but also has the drive and capability to work alone.
Analytical experience in interpreting information and making recommendations from data is essential.
