Position Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for an EmployeeBenefits Team Leader based in our office in Ringwood. The successful candidate will be responsible forleading, monitoring and managing a team of Client Services Co-

ordinators andalso working with the wider team to ensure that the client is at the heart ofeverything we do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, monitor and manage team performance, ensuring a focus on volume and quality of work produced and the provision of a timely, professional and compliant service to our clients.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal / external clients by resolving service issues and acting as an ambassador for the Client Service department.
  • To ensure effective allocation and prioritisation of resources in order to deliver the Divisions KPI’s and service levels.
  • To work with sales Consultants to ensure that there is a smooth flow of work throughout the month for the client services team.
  • To be responsible for identifying training requirements and building the skills and knowledge of the team with particular reference to technical competency and client service skills.
  • Motivate the team to maintain high morale, low absenteeism and turnover.
  • Provide a forum which allows staff to participate in the operation of the team.
  • Hold effective monthly 1 : 1 meetings and team meetings and bi-annual performance reviews.
  • Monitor individual performance, through audits and file checks, providing feedback and taking appropriate action.
  • To check team’s work for compliance and completeness in line with agreed standards.
  • Be responsible for recruitment and selection of own team members based on headcount targets and required skill sets.
  • To build good working relationships with immediate team, the wider Group and the insurers and key stakeholders who we work with.
  • To achieve personal objectives and to contribute to change projects and continuous improvement activity as per the Divisional operating plan.
  • To communicate information to staff to ensure all relevant Company plans and procedural changes are cascaded and understood.
  • To verify and establish accuracy of MI with particular reference to the revenue stream.
  • To follow Group & Divisional processes / policies, including Treating Customers Fairly
  • To take full responsibility for regularly updating own knowledge and monitoring team knowledge of FCA regulations and company processes and procedures in order to provide the best, accurate customer information at all times.
  • To proactively manage own workload e.g. portfolio / client work as appropriate.
  • General ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Skills& Experience

  • Experiencein team leadership / team management
  • Experiencewithin an employee benefits company ideally healthcare or group risk
  • Ableto demonstrate track record in successful people management
