Why this role matters
This role reports into the RAN Operations team located within the EE Customer Centric Operations directorate.
The RAN Operations is accountable for the smooth and cost effective running of the mobile access network(s) and all customer facing services to the outsourced contracts, as well as the definition and running of key operational processes.
What you'll be doing
Support the Transition and Transformation Team in developing and delivering new services to support EE RAN operations
Provide and deliver Transformation and Transition plans detailing costs utilising standard cost models and operational models using industry standard models (ITIL, ETOM etc) ensuring that such models are resilient and scalable within the wider BT business
Capturing of requirements for services being transformed or transitioned and delivering upon these requirements
Participate in due diligence evaluations of any to be transitioned services Work with Service Management, BT Group Service Delivery and wider Transition Team to develop, enhance and deliver existing services based on captured requirements and changing market trends (CEM, Customer Centric Operations, Agile working etc)
Analysis of new to be’ transitioned services and existing service offerings with the BT Group to identify synergies and potential efficiencies that can be delivered through integration
Active involvement in development of presentation / communication materials to support and report on Transition and TransformationSupport Operational Readiness and Risk Assessment activities within the RAN operations team

Service Management Frameworks (ITIL, ETOM)
Knowledge of Mobile Network Architecture (2G,3G,4G)
Knowledge of mobile network infrastructure covering mechanical and electrical Infrastructure
Transmission backhaul (Microwave, Fixed Line)
Experience of working with outsource partners and suppliers
Excellent communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
