Project Manager (12 months)

We are looking for an exceptional Project Manager to oversee and drive a significant public fundraising event.

It’s an exciting, high profile, motivational campaign. It results in high engagement and fundraising participation of all associates at all levels of the business, significant external profile and generates considerable donations.


You will be responsible for the co-ordination of 3 key areas of delivery for the campaign :

  • Merchandise production and delivery
  • Marketing and internal communications
  • Internal engagement and fundraising
  • To drive the project forward, you will keep everyone motivated and ensure all is on track.

    Project Management

  • Work with the campaign leads for the key areas, you will be responsible for managing an overall project plan, holding people accountable for meeting their deadlines.
  • Lead 3 weekly status meetings with all 3 work-stream leads, and provide CSR with regular updates.
  • During the campaign you will have responsibility for leading the weekly trading meeting to include, Buying, Merchandise, Finance, Marketing, Store Operations, Distribution, Ecommerce.
  • Preparing campaign update presentations for SLT and Senior marketing team members.
  • Prepare weekly campaign update email for Corporate Responsibility.
  • Develop and manage the post campaign action plan.
  • Ensure the delivery of the post campaign analysis reports for each work stream.
  • Financial and contract management

  • Gain an understanding of the terms of the relevant contracts in order to ensure that they are adhered to by all concerned.
  • Work with the finance and merchandising teams to ensure that there is weekly sales reporting. Ensure that this is shared with the relevant teams, and any actions are delivered against.
  • Ensure work-stream leads manage their allocated budgets, regularly reporting.
  • At the end of the campaign be responsible for reconciling the overall budget
  • Key Skills, Knowledge and experience.

  • Experience of managing end to end multi-discipline projects within a retail environment.
  • Confidence and gravitas to lead meetings where appropriate.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Ability to create effective partnerships with the internal project teams, collaborating across the teams to ensure needs are met.
  • Proven experience of managing large budgets across multiple disciplines.
  • Confident and dynamic personality.
