The Learning and Development Specialist, reporting to the Sr. Director of Learning and Talent Development, will support, enhance and maintain our learning culture at dataxu.
The primary focus of the role is to develop a sales training implementation strategy based on the thoughtful assessment, identification and prioritization of skill requirements for the dataxu Sales team.
By aligning with key stakeholders, and implementing best-in-class learning practices, this role will show direct impact on our revenue growth.
The Learning and Development Specialist will also support additional key learning objectives across the organization.
On the Job
Drive and iterate as needed, a comprehensive onboarding program for all new sales hires in order to accelerate their time to full productivity
Identify skill gaps at all levels of the Sales Organization and partner with key leaders and subject matter experts to assess developmental needs to drive priority learning initiatives
Collaborate with managers to develop and implement curriculum for specific audiences, and define and track measures of success
Develop learning experiences using all types of learning approaches for sales skills and dataxu specific product knowledge
Utilize a variety of the training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of learning programs
Develop ad hoc curriculum relevant to critical business initiatives as needed
Promote a self-serve / Train-the-Trainer mentality and shared accountability for learning programs, leveraging internal colleagues as needed
Be a role model and representative of the dataxu culture both internally and externally
A Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 5 years’ experience developing and delivering training to Sales teams
Previous experience working in AdTech, Programmatic, TV, SaaS or software industry preferred
Experience in developing and delivering learning experiences, formal and informal, face to face and virtual
Curriculum development experience with ability to customize learning for various audiences
Experience using and training teams on proper use of Salesforce.com
Experience with online learning platforms
Strong communication skills including clear and concise writing, an engaging presentation style, and group facilitation skills
Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and roles, especially with internal clients and subject matter experts
Detailed knowledge of sales training tools and potential vendor partnerships
Strong project management skills : follow-through on goals, plans, and projects
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
Highly motivated, energetic, and a self-starter
Willing and able to travel as needed (up to 25%)
