Due to our exciting growth plans Hoover immediately seeks an experienced, energetic and proactive HR Administrator to join our HR team and fulfil a broad range of HR related administrative activities.

The Human Resources Administrator will be based at our Bolton location (BL2 6PU) and will report to the Human Resources Assistant.

This is a new position and we are looking for someone who is approachable, reliable, administrative, energetic, great multi-

tasker and meticulous with detail.

This extremely busy and important role is a key factor in the smooth running of the Human Resources function. You will be providing assistance to 560 employees dispersed across a number of locations in the UK and Ireland.

Therefore you will have excellent communication skills and provide excellent customer service to all internal customers and develop good working relationships with key members of staff.

You must be able to work flexibly in a confidential environment maintaining discretion & confidentiality managing many matters with sensitivity.

You need to have been working in a similar role for a minimum of 12 months.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, connect confidently with people and have a positive and engaging style as you will be frequently liaising with Directors, Managers and staff.

You will also be extremely organised and have proven experience of working in a fast paced environment. The department is extremely busy and you must be a first class administrator able to produce and respond to significant volumes of correspondence.

You must have excellent I.T skills and be very comfortable using Excel and Microsoft Word.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of undertaking many of the following tasks and will ideally have a CIPD Level 3 qualification :

  • Highly motivated candidate with a passion for delivering an excellent and efficient administrative service.
  • Recruitment administration experience
  • Time & Attendance tasks, monitoring and recording (ADP system)
  • Checking and collecting new starter paperwork
  • Provide support with regard to the preparation and submission of new starter letters, offer letters, contracts of employment and starter packs
  • Prepare employee letters in relation to any salary, bonus or benefit adjustment and update all relevant systems
  • Planning and organising new starter inductions
  • Archiving leaver files
  • Filing, scanning and photocopying
  • Responding to reference requests
  • Collate and analyse staff exit interview data
  • Organising meetings and travel arrangements for members of the HR team
  • Experience of taking notes of meetings and ideally having done this in disciplinary and grievance type meetings
  • You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Produce and keep up-to-date organisational charts
