Hudson is supporting a growing West Midlands based business with its search for an experienced Marketing Communications Manager to join its expanding marketing team.

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Marketing and with direct line management responsibility for a small team of Marketing Communications Executives, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a customer communications plan, multi-

channel marketing communications campaigns, brand awareness and content development.

Specific responsibilities will include :

  • working with stakeholders across the business to develop customer communication activities, recommending appropriate communication channels, ensuring all communication is timely, accurate and relevant
  • development and delivery of a marketing communications programme which adds value and delivers a good ROI
  • overseeing the production of content for print, broadcast, digital and social media
  • development of integrated marketing plans across both B2B and B2C channels
  • protecting and building the brand, and ongoing measurement of brand awareness.
  • writing, editing and proof reading any content produced for marketing communications material
  • production of regular reports and analysis of marketing activity
  • organisation of any events such as trade shows or exhibitions
  • overseeing management of website content.
  • To apply, you'll need to have :

  • significant recent experience in a multi-channel marketing communications role
  • experience of managing a small team of marketing communications executives
  • a proven track record in the delivery of both B2B and B2C marketing communications campaigns
  • experience of working in a large organisation and complex stakeholder environment
  • a track record of successfully managing projects, change, external suppliers and campaigns
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, plus an ability to engage and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • first class organisation skills
  • a degree and professional diploma, certificate or membership in a relevant subject
  • ideally, experience of working in a regulated environment such as utilities or financial services.

  • salary : £40,000-£46,000 per annum
