This role has responsibility for the management of all GP Tariff financial transactions relating to undergraduate GP teaching and for maintaining reporting and filing systems to support the Director of Studies in General Practice (Director of GP Education Group).

The GP Education Group (GPEG) sits in the Primary Care Unit, in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care. The role-

holder will communicate with individuals both internal and external to the department and University.

The main purpose of this role is to ensure GP Tariff payments relating to undergraduate GP teaching are processed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.

The role-holder acts as the main point of contact for all such payment enquiries from external stakeholders, with responsibility for processing payment vouchers for teaching practices, sessional invoices, UPS forms and travel claims.

This ensures that student teaching in the GP element of the medical curriculum is completed effectively and maintains a positive relationship with our partners.

The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level (in particular Mathematics and English) or have equivalent qualifications or experience.

They will have excellent IT skills (particularly of Microsoft Excel) and the ability to organise and prioritise their workload.

They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. The ability to work flexibly is required and experience of working in the University of Cambridge, including knowledge of the finance system, is desirable.

The funds for these posts are available until 30 September 2021
