SF Group are looking to recruit temporary support to a Highways business in Litchfield. This role could potentially go permanent and is paying £9ph.

Your role will be to ensure that a courteous, accurate, timely and efficient service is provided to all external and internal customers.

The Customer Accounts Administrator will be responsible for assisting and providing administrative support to the Tag & MEP account section within the Tolling Operations department.

This will include clerical tasks such as typing reports, filing, handling internal & external phone calls, dealing with mail and record keeping.

The Customer Accounts Administrator will possess good written and verbal communication skills and be highly organised with good interpersonal skills due to dealing with all customer issues and in all aspects of customer Tag account and MEP accounts needs as required by the department / company.

The supervision of all aspects relating solely to Tag accounts will be carried out by the Tag Account Controller.

With the exception of Tag Accounts, the Customer Accounts Administrator will perform various responsibilities and report directly to the Tolling Services Manager reporting only to the Tag Account Controller in his / her absence.

  • Key Tasks / Job Areas :

  • To assist all customers with any queries and complaints and taking ownership of all such queries and complaints in relation to Tag & MEP transactions
  • To ensure that all database information is accurately maintained, recorded and reported including bespoke databases specifically for this role
  • To assist with the creation, maintenance and status of Customer Electronic Tag Accounts
  • Reporting promptly all Tag account issues to the Tag Account Controller
  • To assist with the production, amendment and monitoring of all MEP transactions in line with legal requirements, ensuring that all database information is accurately maintained and recorded
  • To respond to communication (email, written & telephone) in line with laid down procedures and guidelines, seeking guidance and authority from senior management as necessary
  • To assist with the credit control function of Tag and Non Tag transactions as requested
  • Keeping updated and be fully aware of the M6 toll website information to be able to relay this to our customers
  • Keeping updated and be fully aware of all Tolling Operations procedures where applicable to customer accounts
  • To have an understanding of the duties associated to the Tolling Operations teams by visiting the plazas and shadowing Tolling staff in their duties / tasks.
  • To undertake ad-hoc duties as required, e.g. rapid response at toll plazas
  • To assist in the training of colleagues employed within the Customer Accounts team
  • Any other duties assigned by the Tolling Services Manager or the Director of Tolling Operations
  • You will be required to work 20 hours per week between Monday to Friday; any 4 days at 5 hours per day between the hours of 8.

    30 am to 5.00 pm. to suit operational needs and covering holidays / absence. Based on operational requirements, shift patterns are subject to change
