Plant Oxford is the birthplace and heart of MINI production. Manufactured to individual customer specifications, hundreds of MINIs leave the plant’s assembly lines each day, off to meet new owners in more than 110 countries around the world.
Since production of the new MINI started in 2001, almost 3 million cars have been made at Plant Oxford.
Three UK plants have had a part to play in MINI production Plant Hams Hall makes engines, Plant Swindon produces body pressings and sub-
assemblies for MINI, and all this comes together at Plant Oxford with body shell production, paint and final assembly.

Each year we offer a number of internship opportunities and are keen to hear from you if you are currently studying an undergraduate degree and are on track for a 2 : 1 or 1st class final result.
Total Vehicle Quality, Functional Integration
including steer test vehicle coordination to ensure that prototype vehicles are available for quality specialists to perform validation activities on.
This will also involve cross functional liaison with plant and project partners to meet the Validation plan.
The Functional Integration Intern will assist quality specialists with both validation activities and performing root cause analysis, development of customer protection and suggestions for long term solutions on both pre-
series (prototype) and series vehicles.

The intern will ensure the successful management of the internal Test vehicle fleet to ensure that vehicles are booked out / in through the FIPS system correctly by quality specialists.
As well as the management of vehicle admin to add and remove vehicles from the internal fleet and arrange preparing vehicles for use.

site restaurant. As an intern you will also have the opportunity to take part in the testing of new vehicles through one of our car schemes.
Throughout your internship you will be supported by our experts in your chosen field, as well as being surrounded by many fellow interns.
