The role involves placing orders and negotiating prices of equipment, spares and warranty items. This will involve preparing proposals for other managers and the MD.
You will also need to ensure accurate timing of stock movements using SAGE. There will be an element of occasional travel when needed to visit the offsite warehouse to carry out audits.
You will also have the opportunity to implement and improve any practices in regards to the management of warranty claims on suppliers to ensure credits or replacements items are received.
