The role :
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Director for their Scottish facility with a track record of operational and general management, leading successful multi-
functional teams to achieve business results through Quality, Cost and Delivery. You will be an inspirational leader who is resilient and focused on efficiency's and process delivery.
Reporting directly to the UK Operations Director, this role will be responsible for the Manufacturing Operations of the core site and any supporting Third Party Manufacturing Operations with 12 daily direct reports.
For the core site this entails responsibility for the core functions of : Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Finance and HR within a matrix way of working model with support from Group functions.
In order to be successful this person must be a credible business leader capable of delivering organisational performance, change and continuous improvement, best practice whilst working collaboratively across the business, ensuring Vision and Values shape the working environment under their span of control.
The Challenge :
