Location : London

A Chauffeur is required to escort the Chief Executive Officer to and from work, business meetings, airports and other business functions such as conferences, events and dinners.

Applications from ex-military personnel are strongly encouraged (British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy and Royal Marines) however all applications will be considered.

  • Key Responsibilities;
  • Chauffeur the Chief Executive Officer to and from business meetings, as well as to airports and other business functions including conferences, events and dinners that may start and finish outside normal business hours and occasionally at weekends
  • Confirm, schedule and plan appropriate routes to take account of traffic, parking and weather conditions and ensure punctual arrival at all appointments
  • Carry out rehearsal routes prior to appointments
  • Run office errands for the Chief Executive Officer as required
  • Be professional and discreet and to respect the need for total confidentiality at all times
  • Ensure vehicles are immediately available at the end of meetings, dinners or events so that schedules run smoothly
  • On occasions, you may be required to chauffeur the CEO’s family
  • Valet car, both interior & exterior, to a high standard
  • Ensure bottled water and refreshments are always available in the car
  • Ensure passenger comfort and safety at all times
  • Carry out a daily safety check including lights, indicators, tyre condition & pressure, check fluid levels and adjust when necessary
  • Keep company cars in immaculate condition and serviced in line with the manufacturers recommendations
  • Be professional and discreet and to respect the need for total confidentiality at all time
  • Be of professional appearance and punctual at all times
  • To comply with safeguarding policies, procedures and code of conduct and to undertake any safeguarding training when required
  • To demonstrate a personal commitment to safeguarding and student / colleague wellbeing
  • To ensure that any safeguarding concerns or incidents are reported appropriately in line with the policy

  • Excellent chauffeuring skills
  • Flexibility
  • Previous executive chauffeur / driving experience
  • Ability to be discreet and uphold confidentiality
  • Excellent all round communication skills
  • Skills to carry out daily general vehicle safety checks and identify potential service requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
  • A comprehensive knowledge of London’s road network and without dependence on satellite navigation systems
  • Holds a full, clean UK driving licenceProficient driving skills including advanced / defensive driver training would be an advantage
