Junior Cinematic Artist - Marketing

Foundry 42 requires a Junior Cinematic Artist to work within the Marketing team to help generate promotional content for Star Citizen & Squadron 42.
The ideal candidate will have a good eye for composition, lighting and visual storytelling combined with an excellent sense of timing.
They will be required to help capture stills and sequences within engine on a regular basis and assist in creating bespoke sequences and commercials for key milestones.
This is a junior role, so experience within an organisation in a similar capacity is not a requirement, providing the attributes listed below can be demonstrated via Portfolio / Showreel etc.
Cross-disciplinary skills are advantageous.
Work within the Marketing Team and alongside all departments to display game content effectively to the community and wider media.
Create and capture dynamic imagery for use in all forms of marketing across the group; both static and animated.
A strong portfolio / showreel. (If there are collaborative works included, please highlight your personal input)
Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual ability, and originality.
Demonstrable cinematic eye.
A good grasp of the traditional visual storytelling process; storyboarding, block-out animatics etc. through to a final composition.
Strong keyframe animation skills that are judiciously timed and convey weight effectively.
An understanding of atmospheric lighting techniques.
Proficient with industry-standard software and technologies : 3D Software (ideally Maya and / or 3DStudioMax).
Knowledge of Editing / Compositing.
Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas clearly.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Professionalism regarding time and deadlines.
International travel may be required as part of the role.
Desirable additional skills
Familiarity with game engines (Ideally Lumberyard).
Motion Graphics experience.
Familiarity with the Star Citizen Universe.
