As a program manager for data product marketing, you will be supporting our vision 'to make Hotels.com a data / machine learning first company by empowering our employees to take data informed decisions', responsible for promoting data products, tools and data science skills across the organization, scaling and innovating workplace learning and working with leadership across the company to build a more data literate workforce.

This is a phenomenal opportunity for you to work closely with the VP of Data Science, VP of Mobile marketing and Sr. Director of Data and Analytics and other leaders across Expedia to deliver our vision.

our employees and combine strategic insight with employee feedback / needs to drive the development or improve the positioning of products or programs that resonates and empowers our workforce.

What you'll do :

As a core member of the team, reporting to the senior manager data product marketing and governance, you will support goals for data excellence and data science everywhere by :

  • Developing marketing and promotion plans for data products and services
  • Crafting standard methodologies to improve adoption and satisfaction of data products (and training)
  • Carrying out development, strategic, awareness knowledge sharing workshops
  • Driving progress and results for different workstreams and provide regular updates to leadership team and others
  • Working with different teams to identify data and ML needs and plan training curricula
  • Co-ordinating with internal and external partners and vendors to design training programs
  • Tracking and evaluating feedback and driving actions to continuously improve / optimize products or services
  • Assessing the effectiveness of marketing programs and recommend changes or improvements
  • Creating learning roadmap, knowledge / documentation repository and ensuring all teams are aware of such resources
  • Forming and developing a data community and identifying different ways of sharing knowledge
  • Who you are :

  • Experienced in product marketing, with good presentation and story telling skills
  • Experienced in ROI-tracking, able to prove what is or isn’t working
  • Public speaker, comfortable in sharing ideas and presenting to a large and diverse audience
  • A great teammate who loves to work collaboratively to tackle challenges
  • Focused, resilient, and able to easily continue to find solutions and work towards goals when setbacks / hurdles occur
