Reporting to : Senior Marketing Executive.
Primary Role :
This role is to support the marketing activities of the British Plastics Federation (BPF). It is a highly varied role incorporating digital marketing and creative design, as well as supporting public relations activities.
The role will suit a motivated, tech-savvy individual who is a quick learner and keen to apply their skills across a whole host of marketing activities.
Core duties include :
Key Responsibilities :
O Updating BPF website
O Creation of BPF fortnightly newsletter (HTML)
O Promotion of trade shows and BPF events, including creation of HTMLs.
O Promotion of the Horners Awards
O Promotion and running of webinars
O Assistance with banner advertising on BPF website.
O Designing banners, flyers and posters using Adobe software (InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop)
O Liaising with designers to create bespoke material for BPF projects.
O Liaising with printers to deliver materials to deadlines.
O Supporting the delivery of the BPF Annual Review.
O Supporting the delivery of the BPF Members Directory.
O Creating social media posts for Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google + and managing these accounts via Hootsuite.
O Assisting with Search Engine Optimisation of BPF website(s)
O Writing press releases
O Working with the wider team to sell advertising space and increase revenue.
O Monitoring the news for key stories
O Undertaking relevant research to support marketing and wider BPF activities.
O Various ad hoc duties in support of the BPF events and tradeshows team.
