Job Purpose

We are looking for a talented analyst to join our dynamic Business Intelligence Team. The successful candidate will use advanced analytics to contribute to the key decisions made in the area of CRM marketing.

Our Business Intelligence team provides a challenging, enjoyable environment within a collaborative team of dedicated and professional analysts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the analytical partner for the PokerStars Casino marketing stakeholders, promoting data driven decision making
  • Delivery of advanced analytical projects within a fast moving environment
  • Application of data to areas such as campaign analysis, ROI, and A / B testing
  • Extracting and analysing very large and multi-dimensional data sets, working closely with internal units to drive insights and produce more efficient and effective CRM campaigns
  • Extraction and manipulation of large volumes of data
  • Essential :

  • Degree (or equivalent) in the quantitative areas or relevant experience gained in data analytics
  • Ability to deliver high quality work under pressure of deadlines
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to non-technical business people, both written and orally
  • Ability to see the "big picture", evaluate the business impact of issues and prioritize among many requests
  • Ability to turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations
  • Proficiency in extracting and manipulating large datasets using SQL / MicroStrategy (or similar)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Desirable :

  • Knowledge of the online casino industry
  • Practical experience with statistical tools (SPSS, SAS, R, KNIME, other)
  • Experience in data mining / advanced analytics (clustering, regression, predictive models or similar)

    The salary for this job is based on experience, so whilst we are not able to go into detail at this stage, we can say that we offer great salary packages and a discretionary annual performance bonus.
