Head of Sourcing CU UK and Ireland

The Head of Sourcing CU UK and Ireland will report to the Head of Sourcing Market Area Europe & Latin America (MELA) and dotted line to the head of CU UK and Ireland.

The Head of Sourcing CU UK and Ireland will be responsible for the following key priorities :

  • Build a high performing team, team structure and set ways of working for the Sourcing team in the CU that are cost-efficient and effective.
  • Ensure effective management of total spend; driving excellence in cost, supplier efficiency and quality in line with the profitability targets of the company.
  • Drive the improvement of our WCAP in the CU through improvement of payment days with third-party suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with all laws and ISO certification requirements. Ensure information security is at the top of the agenda, and drive safety and security requirements.
  • Develop and execute Full Potential Savings Initiatives (eg via volumes and / or scope management) within the CU
  • Supports the business by representing all sourcing categories (direct and indirect)
  • Ensure execution as per the company strategic sourcing process
  • Ensure alignment and collaboration with business stakeholders as well as with the MELA Sourcing Category Teams and Sourcing Business Excellence teams.
  • The Head of Sourcing CU UK and Ireland will manage a team across UK and Ireland and will represent the entire sourcing organisation in the Leadership Team for the UK.

    The location for the position is Guildford but will relocate to Reading in October 2018. Some travelling within CU UK and Ireland is required.

    Experience in addition to the Leadership Framework items :
