In these roles you would be responsible for managing all aspects of the daily production operation activities. You will be the single point of contact representing the operations function in the project team.
Your duties will include managing the initial operations programme, the Master Production Schedule and other associated schedules including Methods and Quality activities.
You will work closely with the HR Department to ensure the professional management of industrial relations issues. You will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate information, communication, training and instruction is passed on to the workforce.
You will ensure the implementation of process improvements in the Operations area and ensure the projected performance improvement in terms of planning or budget is achieved.
These roles hold the full scope of decision making responsibilities for all operational aspects of the project. In addition to our general Production Manager vacancies, we have one additional vacancy responsible for managing the production activity in our Paint Shop.
For this role, previous experience in a Paint Facility would be required. Successful candidates will demonstrate significant experience in the field of production management.
You will possess highly developed planning skills and excellent negotiation and conflict management abilities. The successful candidate will be passionate about their profession & career, displaying superior knowledge and competence in their area of expertise.
Candidates will ideally possess good project management skills, and previous experience of managing budgets. Candidates will drive for results, able to overcome challenges to meet goals, possess the ability to honour commitments and exercise sound business judgement.
It is important that candidates have previous experience of managing people, being able to motivate self and others whilst operating in a demanding environment.
The successful candidate will be able to communicate clearly and simplify complex concepts, building confidence in team members.
You will possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills, and will be comfortable working with a diverse range of people at levels within the organisation.
Successful candidates will be self-motivated and will be comfortable working both in isolation of as part of a team. You will be computer literate and familiar with MS Office products.
