This territory covers South Central / South West / Oxfordshire / Gloucestershire and South Wales.


  • Core objective of this role is to support the Divisional Manager within Interventional Oncology in achieving the goals and objectives of the Division they represent.
  • Responsibilities

  • Develop further as professional sales person by acquiring working knowledge and selling techniques. Able to tackle a variety of issues, general knowledge in medical device industry (BSC and competitors).
  • Visit customers and / or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager.
  • Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory under general supervision of the Manager.
  • To identify new business opportunities within the accounts, and deliver growth on the territory.
  • Apply sound business acumen to prioritise activities to bring maximum return
  • With limited instructions of Manager, plan and develop the market for our existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment, etc).
  • Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the Radiology Suites
  • Cultivate wide range of business relationships with hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff.
  • Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
  • Analyze and report to the Manager and / or others (monthly & year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools.
  • To represent Boston Scientific values and integrity.
  • Upon request may lead a project team of moderate scope.
  • Skills and experience required :

  • Good Educational back ground. Graduate calibre or relevant clinincal qualification.
  • Field based experience in clinical sales or relevant technical field.
  • Strong Interpersonal skill
  • Customer focussed with strong influencing skills.
  • Commercially aware
  • Time management skills
  • Selft motivated team player
  • Demonstrated experience in selling to procurement professionals
  • Able to sell into Physicians and Consultants in a theatre / Lab
  • Stong analytical skills
  • Solid presentation and teaching skills
